I’m sitting on the bleachers, watching match point of the last match, before it was my turn to play. Questions, thoughts racing through my mind. Will I win? Is she better than me? What would be the outcome of tonight’s match?
Suddenly, the match before mine finished, and it was my turn to try my best and win. I put both my racquets and tennis bag on the chair provided, waiting for my opponent to arrive.
Fifteen minutes later; no one came.
Thirty minutes later; no one showed up either. I soon get tired of having to wait, so I walk into the office, wondering if my competitor would be forced to forfeit; therefore, allowing me to continue on to the next round without actually playing.
The decision had been made, she forfeits and I continue on to play in the next round. I was safe… for now.

Mr. Lloyd's Assistant
I have to stay after-school everyday due to tennis practice at 4:00 p.m. I had no homework to work on, so I was bored out of my mind. I saw Mr. Lloyd making copies of worksheets. i decided to go ahead and annoy him. Little did I know I would be helping him....
"You want to help me staple these papers together?" Mr. Lloyd asks politely.
"Sure..." I couldnt say no since i had nothing else to do. From there, we walked up to his classroom, and I started stapling papers together (sound like fun, doesn't it?)
Well, we talked about tennis, his band, and how he likes to beat box (although i never got him to beat box for me). It turned out to not be so bad....
I made a deal with him saying that since i helped him, he would beat box for me on Friday (hopefully, he wasn't lying).
Today, after school, i was Mr. Lloyd's assistant.
