Goodbye

Last Christmas,
I got the ax,
again.

Goodbye
To all you phonies,
Rich kids and all.
Goodbye
To Old Spencer,
My history teacher,
The only one who did not fail me.
Goodbye
To Dr. Thurmer,
Headmaster,
And phony slob.
Goodbye
To Ackley,
The peculiar one,
The one who never brushed his teeth.
Goodbye
To Stradlatter,
My repulsive roommate.
Goodbye
To Pencey,
Only the fourth school
To have given me the ax.

  1. wow that was really nicely written, I like how it flows together with one topic.

  2. Wonderful!
I like how you lifted a phrase from the poem and made it your title! I also like the way how you wrote it in Holdens perspective. It made it very good.
Your poems are always so touchy and makes the reader speechless!!!
